Don’t let the words “recreation center” fool you! Unlike other recreation centers, the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center looks and feels like a cozy resort. From the moment you walk in, you’ll be captivated by an inviting fire flickering in the beautifully crafted mountain stone fireplace. Complementing the fireplace are pillars made of matching mountain stone that create a warm country atmosphere.

The Ballroom is an elegant, open space with a rich-looking wooden dance floor bordered by carpet. Professional dancers have named the dance floor “One of the best in Colorado.” The Ballroom can be divided into two or three smaller sections to accommodate more intimate gatherings. There is a fully equipped catering kitchen adjacent to the Ballroom as well as a wet bar in each section. The Ballroom features special effects lighting, so you can create the mood you want - bright and cheery or dim and romantic.
