The East Bay Regional Park District has 65 parks covering more than 96,000 acres in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Within the East Bay Regional Park District are four unique and distinctive special event facilities, each which has its own charm, ambiance and décor, and are perfect for hosting your once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

The Brazilian Room, a picturesque reception hall nestled among the trees of Tilden Regional Park in the Berkeley hills, offers a beautiful interior with hardwood floors, rich paneled walls and a large stone fireplace. In addition, the Brazilian Room boasts a large flagstone patio overlooking an expansive lawn in a serene park setting.

Fern Cottage, located at Kennedy Grove Regional Recreation Area in El Sobrante, is set in the midst of a lush, green forest and surrounded by aromatic flowers, ferns and a sprawling meadow. The well-appointed interior offers a cozy lounge room with an old-fashioned wood burning stove as well as a banquet room filled with windows, an area for a dance floor and French doors that open up onto a large deck.

Lake Temescal Beach House, a scenic gem located on Lake Temescal within the Temescal Regional Recreation Area in Oakland, is a wonderful venue set against a forested knoll and overlooks a clear blue lake. The facility is a tastefully appointed two-story building with a second level that provides spectacular views through its numerous windows. The backyard of the Beach House has a terraced rose garden, a flagstone patio and a cascading waterfall.

The Shoreline Center at Martin Luther King, Jr. Regional Shoreline is located right on the Oakland estuary. Surrounded by water and providing picturesque views through its floor-to-ceiling walls of windows, the Shoreline Center provides an unparalleled setting for hosting the most memorable of occasions.
