In a spot you’d never expect on a quiet tree lined residential street near the crossroads of Big Basin and Sunnyvale/Saratoga roads, lies the Saratoga Foothill Club.
This decorative 1915 Arts and Crafts-style building was designed
by Julia Morgan as a women’s club, and houses the oldest social organization in Saratoga. This structure ranks among the distinguished small redwood buildings of California, and in 1978 the Clubhouse received the distinction of being listed in the National Register of Historic Landmarks.
There is an old-style charm to the building with its brown-shingled façade and wood trellises framing the custom shaped windows to filter in glorious sunshine.
With its overall feeling of old-world warmth, comfort and enchanting structure and gardens the Saratoga Foothill club provides a pleasant and intimate environment for a complete Wedding Celebration! This site can easily accommodate 125 guests for a ceremony and reception.
The tree lined courtyard is very private, making it a perfect spot for the Garden Ceremony. Already abundant with blooming trees and flowers in almost any season, this courtyard can be used for the ceremony and then setup with tables and umbrellas making a great place for your guests to take a break from the dancing and enjoy a beverage and good conversation.
Tours available every Monday evening at 7:00 or by appointment almost anytime. Call for info.
